Starting out…
I have always been a designer at heart. From the age of 3, I have been drawing everything that my mind was able to dream of. Artistic creativity was always an area where I was able to excel both in my entire school career and in my personal life.
Coming from a family of engineers, doctors, and complex thinkers, it was only natural that when I began a career in design, I went from pen and paper to digital devices as my canvas. It was natural that my work would incorporate what I feel is a deeper level of thought beyond a single frame. The need for a deeper level of thinking and interactivity in my visual creations is what lead me to pursue a career in website and design, rather than traditional graphic art or other visual disciplines.
Deeper in Design
The real game-changer was learning how to code using front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Once I understood how the visual elements I created interacted with each other, I was able to see the discipline of design more dynamically and not only make more impactful decisions, but also create designs that were more meaningful and had an impact on peoples’ lives.
I currently specialize in creating end-to-end digital experiences for websites and apps. Though I do provide visual design for print and other marketing materials, my true specialty is strategy and execution of building websites and apps.
With over 11 years in the industry of creating custom websites, branding and digital solutions, design is more than just my profession, it is my passion. I am a UX Designer based out of Philadelphia, and I specialize in taking your idea from concept to reality.
